Fusion Yoga is not your typical yoga class.Fusion Yoga is a blending of both ancient Burmese and Indonesian martial arts.Traditional Burmese Yoga was developed to maintain health and assist in recovery from injuries. It focuses on function and physicality of the practitioner.
Indonesian Yoga is a dynamic yoga
that integrates different asanas (physical exercises)
into moving flow sets. Combining movement with postures
that stretch and tone, the overall power and fluid
flexibility of the body is enhanced.
Elements of meditation and breath work are integrated into this form of yoga to challenge the mind as well as the body, bringing both into balance with nature. Fusion Yoga is a practice that will help you to find continuity and focus - not just on the mats, but throughout the rest of your life. You can take as much or as little as you want from the art, but there is a great deal to be gained if you choose to commit yourself to a sincere practice.
